At TheRaj Publications, we welcome first-time and experienced authors. We are open to almost every author whose work meets our editorial criteria—because a worthwhile manuscript deserves a fair opportunity.
TheRaj Publications operates as a traditional publisher, not a self-publishing company. Our aim is to combine careful editorial selection with quicker decisions, direct communication and fewer unnecessary delays.

We are a traditional publisher. We are not a self-publishing company. Publication is based on editorial selection; authors cannot choose to publish any manuscript simply by submitting it or paying for a service.
Our editorial team assesses each manuscript and works with the author on the revisions needed to prepare it for publication. Only after the manuscript passes editorial review and receives approval can we move forward to discuss publishing it.
We welcome new and experienced authors across most subjects. Openness to a topic does not mean automatic acceptance: the manuscript must meet our standards for originality, clarity, responsible writing and reader suitability.
No publishing fee. No paid acceptance.
TheRaj Publications does not charge authors a publishing fee or ask for an upfront payment to accept or publish a manuscript. Our founder firmly believes that publication should be earned through the quality of the work—not purchased.
Every manuscript must pass our editorial review. Acceptance depends on its content, quality and suitability for our publishing programme. Payment cannot secure editorial approval or publication.
We may offer certain optional paid services. These will be clearly explained and separately agreed upon. Purchasing them is not a condition of acceptance or publication.
What we look for.
You do not need an established name or a large following. The work itself is our starting point.
Your own voice.
Original writing, a clear purpose and the necessary rights or permissions for any material you include. Sources and quotations should be acknowledged.
Something worth reading.
A manuscript that offers knowledge, insight, a compelling story or a meaningful reading experience, with a clear sense of its intended audience.
Ready to grow.
Readable, thoughtfully prepared work and a willingness to discuss editorial improvements. Responsible treatment of facts, people and ideas matters to us.
Our invitation is not limited to astrology or any single subject. We welcome educational writing, nonfiction, literature, poetry and work across most other topics, provided the manuscript meets our editorial criteria.
Broad interests. Clear boundaries.
We look for thoughtful, responsible books suitable for a broad readership. We do not accept adult or sexually explicit material, horror, or content centred on graphic violence and disturbing themes.
Sensitive or controversial subjects that are unsuitable for a broad readership fall outside our publishing scope. Other submissions are assessed individually for their subject, presentation and intended audience.
Please tell us who your book is written for. We assess age suitability and intended readership for each manuscript individually.
From manuscript to a clear next step.
- Introduce your book. Send a short synopsis, a sample and a brief author introduction.
- Editorial review and preparation. Our editorial team reviews the manuscript for its content, readership and fit with our criteria, and works with the author on required revisions.
- Approval before publishing discussions. Once the manuscript passes editorial review and is approved, we discuss its format, schedule and publication terms with you.
- Agree before proceeding. The next stages begin once the scope and terms are clear to both sides.
Know where your book stands.
We aim for timely responses and practical decisions. Review time depends on the manuscript’s length, complexity and the number of submissions under consideration.
Every manuscript receives consideration against our criteria. Submitting a manuscript does not automatically mean acceptance.
Rights, author remuneration, production arrangements and distribution plans will be discussed before an agreement is made. Any optional paid services will be separately explained and agreed upon; they are not a condition of publication.

- A synopsis and approximate word count.
- The table of contents, where applicable, and two or three sample chapters in PDF or Word format.
- Whether the manuscript is complete and whether any part has been published before.
