Privacy Policy
This policy explains how TheRaj Publications handles personal information in connection with therajpublications.in, book enquiries and author submissions. For privacy questions or requests, email TheRajPublications@gmail.com.
1. Information you provide
When you email us, we receive your email address, name and any information you choose to include. If you call us, we may receive your phone number and the information you choose to share during your enquiry. Book enquiries and author submissions may include an author biography, synopsis, manuscript, sample chapters, intended readership and publication history. Please provide only what is needed for your enquiry or submission, and avoid sending identity documents, financial credentials or unnecessary sensitive information.
2. Website and technical information
Our website uses WordPress and Hostinger hosting. Hosting and website systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps and error or security logs to deliver and protect the website.
WordPress uses cookies for functions such as authenticated administration and session management. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may affect some functions.
3. How we use information
- To reply to book and publication enquiries.
- To assess manuscripts, coordinate editorial review and communicate with authors.
- To discuss and administer separately agreed publication arrangements or optional services.
- To operate, troubleshoot and protect the website.
- To maintain necessary records and meet applicable obligations.
4. Manuscripts and editorial access
Author submissions are used for evaluation and related communication. Relevant editorial team members or reviewers may receive access where needed for that purpose. Submitting a manuscript does not transfer its ownership or authorise public publication; any publication rights and arrangements require a separate agreement.
5. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed with people involved in editorial assessment and service providers supporting our website, email or agreed services. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, prevent misuse or resolve a dispute.
Email sent to our Gmail address is processed through Google’s email services. Website requests are processed by our hosting provider. These providers handle information under their own policies and applicable requirements.
6. External websites and payments
This website currently provides book information, email enquiries and links to external retailers such as Amazon. It does not currently offer an on-site checkout or collect card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or payment credentials.
If you follow a retailer or author-website link, that website’s privacy and transaction policies apply. Book cover images are served from astrologicalharsh.com; loading them sends a request to that website’s hosting systems.
If we introduce payment processing or other features that change how personal information is handled, we will update this policy accordingly.
7. Retention and security
We retain correspondence and submissions for as long as reasonably needed for review, follow-up, agreed arrangements, recordkeeping or applicable obligations. Retention depends on the purpose and circumstances. You may contact us to request deletion of an enquiry or submission.
We use reasonable measures to limit access and protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and requests
You may contact us to ask about information you have provided, request correction or deletion, withdraw a submission, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify that a request comes from the person concerned. Some records may need to be retained for existing agreements, legal obligations or disputes.
Withdrawing information needed for editorial assessment may mean we cannot continue reviewing the manuscript. You can also choose not to send personal information or to limit what you include in an initial enquiry.
9. Children and submissions
We do not seek unnecessary personal information from children. If a prospective author is a minor, a parent or guardian should contact us before submitting personal information or entering any publication arrangement.
10. Updates and privacy contact
We may update this policy when our services or practices change. The latest version and its update date will appear on this page.
For privacy requests or grievances, contact TheRaj Publications at TheRajPublications@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. Please explain your request without including passwords or payment credentials.
